Weekly reflection - 2- Internship phase 1

 The second week of my internship was a blend of celebrations, teaching, observations, and new learnings. Since the school had holidays in between, we had regular classes only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with an additional session on Saturday. On Monday (21 July), the school celebrated Moon Day, as the actual date (20 July) was a holiday. The campus was filled with creativity and excitement—students came dressed as astronauts, displayed models of rockets, the solar system, and other space-related exhibits. It was inspiring to see how well they conveyed their ideas about space and the universe.  A special speech and quiz were also part of the celebrations.  That day, my option teacher observed my class, and I also handled a few substitution hours.   Weekly Reflection – Internship Phase 1 (Week 1: July 14–18, 2025) School: GHSS Nedungolam My teaching internship began on 14th July 2025 at GHSS Nedungolam. I reached the school by 9 a.m. and, along with fellow trainees, met the school principal, Mrs. Susan Varghese. After the formal introduction, I was guided to my subject teacher, Darshana Ma’am, who provided me with helpful suggestions and instructions for beginning my class. I was allotted Class 9A, and my first period was scheduled right on the first day, which marked an energetic and positive start to my internship journey. I began teaching the chapter “Debts of Gratitude” and continued with it throughout the week. I made conscious efforts to engage the students through simplified explanations, questions, and classroom activities designed to enhance their comprehension.
