Weekly Reflection – Week 8 of My School Internship Week 8 of my internship was filled with poetry appreciation, diagnostic assessment, creative competitions, and meaningful classroom interactions. Each day provided new insights into teaching practices and strengthened my ability to manage diverse classroom situations effectively.  Day 36 – 22 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first-period class in 9A by introducing a new poem, “Sea Fever.” The main objective was to help students understand the poet’s deep longing for the sea and appreciate the imagery and rhythmic flow of the poem. To make the session engaging, I used charts, flashcards, and audio clips of sea waves, which helped students visualize the poem more vividly. During the fourth period, I handled a substitution class in the same division, where I distributed and discussed the achievement test papers, clarifying errors and guiding students on improvement.   Conscientization programme Topic: Importance of Clean Drinking Water Date: 26 September 2025 Class: 8B Period: 7th Period Conducted as part of the B.Ed. Programme Introduction As part of our B.Ed. internship programme, we conducted a conscientization session for Class 8B on the topic “Importance of Clean Drinking Water.” The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among students about the significance of consuming safe, clean water and to help them understand how contaminated water can seriously harm health. To make the session engaging, we began with a simple comparison activity—asking students to imagine which glass of water they would choose to drink. This helped them think critically about purity, cleanliness, and hygiene even before the session formally began.
