Weekly Reflection – Week 8 of My School Internship Week 8 of my internship was filled with poetry appreciation, diagnostic assessment, creative competitions, and meaningful classroom interactions. Each day provided new insights into teaching practices and strengthened my ability to manage diverse classroom situations effectively. Day 36 – 22 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first-period class in 9A by introducing a new poem, “Sea Fever.” The main objective was to help students understand the poet’s deep longing for the sea and appreciate the imagery and rhythmic flow of the poem. To make the session engaging, I used charts, flashcards, and audio clips of sea waves, which helped students visualize the poem more vividly.
