HKM College of Education, Umayanalloor successfully conducted the Akhara Sports Meet 2026 on 7 January 2026 at the college ground with great enthusiasm and participation. The event showcased the true spirit of sportsmanship through a wide range of track and field competitions including 100m and 400m running, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, long jump, walking, and a mixed relay, with events held for both men and women. Students actively participated and demonstrated remarkable energy, discipline, and teamwork throughout the day. Akhara 2026 stood as a memorable occasion that strengthened unity, promoted physical fitness, and celebrated athletic excellence within the campus.

  Weekly Reflection – Week 7 of My School Internship Week 7 of my internship was filled with active teaching, observations, co-curricular engagements, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day offered opportunities to improve my teaching skills and develop a deeper understanding of classroom dynamics. Day 31 – 15 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first period in Class IX A, where I continued and concluded the chapter “The Toilet.” The lesson focused on enhancing students’ comprehension and vocabulary skills. Using the textbook and flashcards as my teaching–learning resources, I guided students through reading activities, questioning, and a group task. Their engagement and improved confidence in using new vocabulary made the lesson truly fulfilling. I was glad to see how students related events from the story to their personal experiences.
