SUBJECT ASSOCIATION - INAUGURATION

 The Subject Association Inauguration was held on 14th October with great enthusiasm and active participation. The programme marked an important milestone in our academic journey, bringing together dignitaries, faculty members, and students to celebrate learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.








• The event featured insightful speeches, traditional ceremonial proceedings, and meaningful interactions that reflected the association’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.

• The day also highlighted the significance of World Novel Week, observed from October 14. The celebration emphasized the role of novels in shaping literature, culture, and society, while encouraging deeper engagement with diverse genres and authors.

• As a pre-event highlight, a lively flash mob was organized on 10th October to reveal the name of the association, “Inked Chronicles.” The energetic performance created excitement and concluded with the unveiling of a grand banner from the top of the building, officially marking the beginning of the association activities.




• A special moment was dedicated to the acknowledgement of faculty members, appreciating their guidance and support. The vote of thanks was delivered with gratitude, recognizing the collective effort behind the successful event.




• In connection with World Novel Week, students contributed books to the college library to promote a reading culture. The book collection was received by the college librarian on behalf of the institution.

• One of the major highlights of the day was the official logo reveal of the association. The logo was unveiled by the Managing Director of HKM College of Education , symbolizing the vision, values, and identity upheld by the institution.



• The programme concluded with engaging post-event activities, including a gaming session that featured Word Chain Challenge, Pictionary, and a Trivia Quiz. These activities encouraged participation, creativity, and teamwork, making the day both educational and enjoyable.

Weekly Reflection 7 ( Internship) phase 1

  Weekly Reflection – Week 7 of My School Internship Week 7 of my internship was filled with active teaching, observations, co-curricular engagements, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day offered opportunities to improve my teaching skills and develop a deeper understanding of classroom dynamics. Day 31 – 15 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first period in Class IX A, where I continued and concluded the chapter “The Toilet.” The lesson focused on enhancing students’ comprehension and vocabulary skills. Using the textbook and flashcards as my teaching–learning resources, I guided students through reading activities, questioning, and a group task. Their engagement and improved confidence in using new vocabulary made the lesson truly fulfilling. I was glad to see how students related events from the story to their personal experiences. ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

 ANNUAL SPORTS DAY   HKM College of Education, Umayanalloor successfully conducted the Akhara Sports Meet 2026 on 7 January 2026 at the college ground with great enthusiasm and participation. The event showcased the true spirit of sportsmanship through a wide range of track and field competitions including 100m and 400m running, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, long jump, walking, and a mixed relay, with events held for both men and women. Students actively participated and demonstrated remarkable energy, discipline, and teamwork throughout the day. Akhara 2026 stood as a memorable occasion that strengthened unity, promoted physical fitness, and celebrated athletic excellence within the campus.
