 ARTS DAY ( 26 March 2025)


Arts Day was celebrated in our college on 26th March 2025 with great enthusiasm, and students were divided into different groups to participate in various cultural events.

A variety of song performances were presented, including traditional Vanchipattu, which added cultural richness to the celebration.




A group dance and solo dance competition was conducted, where students performed energetic and coordinated dances representing teamwork and creativity.





A colourful Rangoli competition was held, and I was proud to secure the first prize in this event.



A Fancy Dress competition was organized, showcasing creativity, confidence, and imaginative costumes among the participants.



A Mehndi competition was also conducted, displaying intricate designs and artistic skill. 




The Arts Day celebration was vibrant and joyful, providing students with an opportunity to express their artistic talents.

Weekly Reflection 7 ( Internship) phase 1

  Weekly Reflection – Week 7 of My School Internship Week 7 of my internship was filled with active teaching, observations, co-curricular engagements, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day offered opportunities to improve my teaching skills and develop a deeper understanding of classroom dynamics. Day 31 – 15 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first period in Class IX A, where I continued and concluded the chapter “The Toilet.” The lesson focused on enhancing students’ comprehension and vocabulary skills. Using the textbook and flashcards as my teaching–learning resources, I guided students through reading activities, questioning, and a group task. Their engagement and improved confidence in using new vocabulary made the lesson truly fulfilling. I was glad to see how students related events from the story to their personal experiences. ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

 ANNUAL SPORTS DAY   HKM College of Education, Umayanalloor successfully conducted the Akhara Sports Meet 2026 on 7 January 2026 at the college ground with great enthusiasm and participation. The event showcased the true spirit of sportsmanship through a wide range of track and field competitions including 100m and 400m running, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, long jump, walking, and a mixed relay, with events held for both men and women. Students actively participated and demonstrated remarkable energy, discipline, and teamwork throughout the day. Akhara 2026 stood as a memorable occasion that strengthened unity, promoted physical fitness, and celebrated athletic excellence within the campus.
