 Independence Day Celebration – 15 August 2025



Independence Day is always a proud occasion for every Indian, as it reminds us of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters and the importance of cherishing the hard-earned freedom we enjoy today. The day not only instills patriotism but also brings together the entire school community in a spirit of unity and celebration.


This year, I had the opportunity to spend Independence Day at my internship school. I reached the school by 8:30 a.m., just in time for the flag hoisting ceremony. The tricolor rising against the morning sky, accompanied by the national anthem sung by students, created a truly moving moment. Soon after, a variety of programs began—students came dressed as famous personalities from the Indian freedom struggle, which brought history to life in front of us. It was inspiring to see their dedication and confidence in representing such great figures.






The winners of the Independence Day Quiz, which had been conducted earlier, were also awarded on this day. Following the formal programs, the high school students presented a vibrant dance performance, which added energy and festivity to the morning.





As it was my first Independence Day experience as a teacher, it felt very special to be part of the celebrations from this new perspective. Watching the speeches, skits, and performances, I felt a deep sense of patriotism and pride. At the same time, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how the students combined learning, creativity, and passion in celebrating the day. 



It was truly a memorable Independence Day that I will always cherish

Weekly Reflection 7 ( Internship) phase 1

  Weekly Reflection – Week 7 of My School Internship Week 7 of my internship was filled with active teaching, observations, co-curricular engagements, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day offered opportunities to improve my teaching skills and develop a deeper understanding of classroom dynamics. Day 31 – 15 September 2025 I reached the school by 9:00 a.m. and began my first period in Class IX A, where I continued and concluded the chapter “The Toilet.” The lesson focused on enhancing students’ comprehension and vocabulary skills. Using the textbook and flashcards as my teaching–learning resources, I guided students through reading activities, questioning, and a group task. Their engagement and improved confidence in using new vocabulary made the lesson truly fulfilling. I was glad to see how students related events from the story to their personal experiences. ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

 ANNUAL SPORTS DAY   HKM College of Education, Umayanalloor successfully conducted the Akhara Sports Meet 2026 on 7 January 2026 at the college ground with great enthusiasm and participation. The event showcased the true spirit of sportsmanship through a wide range of track and field competitions including 100m and 400m running, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw, long jump, walking, and a mixed relay, with events held for both men and women. Students actively participated and demonstrated remarkable energy, discipline, and teamwork throughout the day. Akhara 2026 stood as a memorable occasion that strengthened unity, promoted physical fitness, and celebrated athletic excellence within the campus.
